A body has been in the search for missing Coatbridge man Michael Andrews.
Police announced the tragic news this evening (Sunday) after the 71-year-old been had been reported missing from the Blairhill area of the town on Friday.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
The Lanarkshire police force tonight advised: "A body has been discovered during the search for 71-year-old Michael Andrews, reported missing from the Blairhill area of Coatbridge on Friday.

"Formal identification is still to take place, but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
