Body found in search for missing Belfast teenager Noah Donohoe

A body has been found in the search for a teenager in Belfast who police believe may have fallen from his bike and hurt his head.

A huge search operation has been taking place this week for 14-year-old Noah Donohoe, who was last seen in areas close to the Shore Road, in the north of the city, on Sunday evening.

It is understood the body was found in a storm drain that was not accessible earlier in the week due to high tides.

Early indications show that police do not believe there is any sign of foul play in his death.

Officers believe he may have fallen from his bicycle and hurt his head.

On Friday, officers found a bag containing the teenager’s laptop, which was examined by specialist officers.

The discovery came after a member of the public responded to a specific appeal by police for help to find the bag.

Superintendent Muir Clark described the discovery of the bag as “significant”.
