A body has been found in the search for a missing Ayrshire mum.
Natasha Harrison was last seen in Saltcoats on Thursday, August 6.
But police announced yesterday that the body of a woman had been found in a woodland area on New Street, Stevenston near to Livingstone Parish Church.
The woman has yet to be identified but the family of the 27-year-old has been made aware.
Officers also said that the death was not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm the body of a woman has been found in a woodland area on New Street, Stevenston near to Livingstone Parish Church.
"The woman has not yet been formally identified. However, the family of Natasha Harrison, 27, who had been reported missing from Saltcoats, has been made aware.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious."
