Body found in search for missing Australian man Cain Poulsen

Police have confirmed a body has sadly been found in the search for a young Australian man.

An urgent search was launched for missing 24-year-old Cain Poulsen, who recently moved from Australia to Paisley.

He had visited the Bracklinn Falls area of Callander on Tuesday and was last seen at around noon in the town's Main Street.

Police have informed Cain's family following the tragic discovery this morning.

An investigation to determine the exact cause of death is underway, however it is not being treated as suspicious.

A Forth Valley Police Division statement advised: "Around 10am on Wednesday, 24 November, 2021 the body of a man was found in the Bracklinn area of Callander.
