The search for a 74-year-old man in Co Meath has been stood down after a body was found.
Gardai confirmed the search for Patrick Cavigan had ended following the tragic discovery. They have thanked the public for their help in spreading the word.
Mr Cavigan went missing from Athboy on Tuesday, January 3. A missing persons notice was issued by gardai this morning before the discovery was made.
