Police searching for missing County Durham man Steven Smith have found a body.
The 32-year-old, from Bishop Auckland, was last seen around 4pm on Friday on Brinkburn Close.
An urgent search was launched for Steven with police believing he may have been driving a black Toyota Yaris.
Durham Constabulary also shared a photo of Steven and urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
Police have now confirmed that officers have found the body in the search for Steven near Bolam.
There is not believed to be any third party involvement in his death and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.
A Durham Constabulary spokeswoman said: "Sadly a body was found in the search for Steven Smith on Saturday.
"The 32-year-old had been reported missing from his home in Bishop Auckland the previous day.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
