Body found in search for missing 21-year-old who disappeared after leaving work

The body of a man has been found in the search for a missing 21-year-old.

Dominic Sisson was reported missing yesterday afternoon when he did not return to his home in West Hallam, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, after leaving work.

Mountain rescue volunteers taking part in the search for Dominic found a body in the woods off Little Hallam Hill, in Ilkeston, in the early hours of this morning.

A spokesman for Derbyshire Constabulary said: "The body of a man has been found in the search for missing man Dominic Sisson.

"The 21-year-old was reported missing yesterday afternoon when he failed to return to his home in West Hallam after leaving work in Ilkeston.

"Mountain Rescue Team volunteers, who were supporting our search, found the body of a man in woods off Little Hallam Hill in the early hours of this morning.

"Formal identification has yet to take place but we believe the body to be that of Mr Sisson. His family have been informed and are being supported."
