A body found in the River Wye in Monmouth has been identified as a missing woman.
Lydia Davies from Monmouth was reported missing on Christmas Eve.
Gwent Police confirmed on Sunday morning that the 46-year-old's body was discovered in the River Wye on January 2.
A spokesman for Gwent Police said: "On Saturday, January 2, a body of a woman was found in the River Wye in Monmouth at around 3.15pm.
"We can confirm, formal identification has taken place and the woman has been identified as Lydia Davies, aged 46 from Monmouth, who was reported as missing to Gwent Police on December 24, 2020.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious. Next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed."
