A body has been found in the River Clyde near Pointhouse Place, in Glasgow .
Police confirmed this morning that the family of missing Joseph Duffy, 39, has been informed of the grim discovery.
Officers were made aware around 1.30pm on Saturday, 2 May, almost a month after Joseph was reported missing from the Newlands in Glasgow's south side on April 10.
Joseph friends and family described him as "the happiest person in our lives and always had the biggest smile. A true gentleman with a heart of gold".
Last month his family launched a fundraiser for the Samaritans charity, in a bid to encourage men to seek help when they need it.
Donations have already poured in, with the family raising over £11,000 at the time of writing.
There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
