A man's body has been discovered in the River Bann today, police have confirmed.
The death of this man is being investigated by officers and a recovery operation is ongoing.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered in the River Bann, Coleraine today Thursday 31 October.
"A post-mortem examination is due to take place to determine the cause of death."
A spokesperson for the Water Search and Rescue team told Belfast Live that they are working with PSNI officers.
