Body found in Glasgow garden 'not suspicious', police confirm

The discovery of a body in a Glasgow garden is not being treated as suspicious, police confirmed.

We told how emergency crews descended on the city's Mossbank Drive on the morning of Tuesday, July 13.

Police were called to reports of a man's body being 'found in a garden' at around 10.40am.

Horrified neighbours watched on as cops and ambulance crews sealed of a large part of the residential area in Hogganfield.

Officers revealed that a 45-year-old man had died at a property.

At that time his death was being treated as unexplained.

On Wednesday, July 30, police confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.

The death is still cited as unexplained.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Record: "The death of the 45-year-old man in Mossbank Drive, Glasgow, around 10.40am on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious."
