A man has been arrested after another man was found dead in a Glasgow close.
Police were called to Knapdale Street in the Lambhill area in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The alarm was raised after a man was found injured within a common close.
The man was pronounced dead upon the arrival of emergency services.
On Saturday afternoon officers confirmed the incident.
The force also revealed that a 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Record: "We received a report of a man found injured within a common close on Knapdale Street, Glasgow, around 2am on Saturday, July 3.
"Officers attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A 26-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing."
