A man's body has been found in the Clydebank canal yesterday afternoon, Police Scotland have announced.
The body was found yesterday, Thursday, 15 October, 2020, at around 5.20pm.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, the family of local man Scott Anderson, missing since Thursday, 1 October, have been made aware of the discovery.
A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Scott Anderson was last located at a bus stop in Chalmers Street shortly before midnight on Friday October 2.
