A body has been found in a pond at Brisbane's Botanic City Gardens, sparking a police investigation. (AAP)

A body has been found in a pond at the Brisbane Botanic City Gardens with police investigating.

Officers were called to the park on Alice St, Brisbane, just after 1pm on Sunday.

Police couldn't confirm the person's gender, or whether the death was being treated as suspicious.
