- Australian police have discovered a decomposed body believed to be Julian Ingram, who was wanted for the murder of three people in New South Wales earlier this year.
- Ingram, 37, was on bail for domestic violence when he allegedly shot and killed his pregnant ex-partner Sophie Quinn, her aunt, and a friend in Lake Cargelligo on 22 January.
- The body was found near an abandoned utility vehicle in a nature reserve approximately 50km north-west of Lake Cargelligo, with police stating it appeared to have been there 'for some time'.
- National Parks and Wildlife Service personnel located the abandoned vehicle during feral animal eradication, which subsequently led to the discovery of the body and a firearm nearby.
- Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland expressed relief that the discovery brings closure to the four-month manhunt, the investigation, and provides solace to the Lake Cargelligo community.
