Body found at recycling centre 'after being transported' sparks police probe

A body found at a recycling centre has sparked a police investigation.

The discovery was made on Friday, August 21 at around 5pm at the centre in Bedworth, Warwickshire.

An investigation is now underway, and being led by West Midlands Police, with efforts to identify the body being made.

A spokesman for the force said it is believed that the body was transported from the West Midlands area to the recycling centre in Bayton Road.

The person has not yet been identified, reports Coventry Live.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We are investigating after a body was found at a recycling centre in Warwickshire on Friday (21 August), having been transported from the West Midlands area.

“Enquiries continue as efforts to identify the person are made.”
