A body has been recovered from a pond near Blackwood after a man was seen struggling in the water.
The emergency services were called to Pen y Fan Pond at 7pm on Monday after concerns were raised for a man seen in the water.
The emergency services were called and a search was commenced including divers and the mountain rescue service.
After the search was reconvened on Tuesday morning, the body of a man was discovered at 2pm.
Formal identification of the body has yet to take place but the death is not being treated as suspicious by the police.
