Body found at Glasgow Central Station in toilets as police probe launched

A man has been found dead in the public toilets at Glasgow’s Central Station.

British Transport Police announced an investigation is underway after the body was discovered at the weekend on October 17 around 8.15pm.

Reports had been made that a man was unresponsive and paramedics attended.

Despite attempts to revive him the man was sadly pronounced dead.

His family have been made aware.

BTP are now appealing to the public for any information to help their investigation.

The man, said to be in his forties, is thought to have entered the toilets at around 5.15pm and cops are interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen him in the area between then and 8.15pm.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 554 of 17/10/20.
