A specialist dive team are helping to retrieve a body from a quarry in Edinburgh.
Police officers were alerted shortly after 11.30am this morning after a member of the public reported a body in the water at Forthquarter Park in Granton.
Cordons have been up and police and specialist officers are currently in attendance.
A spokesman said: "Around 11am on Monday 4 January a body was discovered in water at a quarry on West Granton Road.
"Officers are carrying out enquiries at the scene and work is ongoing to establish the circumstances and identity."
