Body discovered in Paisley's East End Park

A body has been discovered in a park in Paisley, police have confirmed.

Officers were called to East End Park, off Seedhill Road, on Saturday morning and have since advised a 56-year-old man was found dead.

Police say they aren't treating the death as suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson this afternoon confirmed to Glasgow Live: "Around 11.10 am on Saturday, 20 June, 2020 a 56-year-old man was found dead at East End Park, Seedhill Road, Paisley.

"A post mortem examination will take place to establish the exact cause of death which police are not treating as suspicious.

"A report will be sent to the PF."
