A body discovered in a Clydebank canal this morning has been confirmed as a 17-year-old boy from the area.
Police confirmed they found the body of a male teenager around 9.30am this morning at a canal near Kirkwood Avenue.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a body of a 17-year-old man was recovered from a canal near Kirkwood Avenue, Clydebank around 9.30am on Friday, 28 May, 2021.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
