Bodo/Glimt supporters take over London ahead of Arsenal Europa League clash

Arsenal face off against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday in the Europa League group stages. The visitors sit top with one win and one draw after two games - having played one more than the Gunners after their clash against PSV Eindhoven was rescheduled.

Mikel Arteta's side will leapfrog their opponents with victory before facing them again next Thursday in the return fixture back in Norway. The Spaniard isn't underestimating the away side though, who have had some success in Europe, including a 6-1 victory over Roma last season.

"We’ve done that homework," Arteta said on Bodo/Glimt ahead of the game. "We have made the players aware of the team we’re facing tomorrow, their history and what they’ve done in the last few years.

"We’ve got Martin in the squad as well who knows them really well and he’s done the homework in the dressing room to make sure they know it’s going to be a tough game."

The clash leaves the manager with a decision to make over his team selection, with the desire to rotate while also respecting the opposition. No matter the score or final result, the travelling fans are likely to enjoy a huge night in north London in their European journey.

A large number of Bodo/Glimt supporters were pictured by football.london's very own Arsenal writer Kaya Kaynak in London King's Cross ahead of kick-off. Swathes of yellow shirts could be seen, including a coloured smoke flare that was let off as all the fans chanted about their beloved club.

They will certainly be hoping their players can give them another memorable night in Europe as they continue to write their own history in their meteoric rise.
