Bobby Zlamal trolls Hibs after Scottish Cup final defeat as Hearts 'keeper makes 'wee green team' jibe

Zdenek Zlamal has trolled Hibs after their Scottish Cup final defeat by referring to them as the “wee green team”.

The Hearts goalkeeper has been on emergency loan to St Johnstone after they were struck by a raft of Covid absences towards the end of the season.

The Czech wasn’t in the squad for today’s final at Hampden but was in the stand to watch on as his temporary teammates made history and added the Scottish Cup to the Betfred Cup already won this season.

Shuan Rooney’s header was enough to give Callum Davidson the win over Jack Ross’ team.

Zlamal joined in the celebrations and the Tynecastle stopper, who is out of contract this summer, took great delight in winding up his rivals as he thanked and congratulated the Perth club after his short stint came to an end.

He captioned an Instagram post of Saints celebrations with: “When life gives you lemon, make lemonade.

When life gives you an emergency loan in St. Johnstone, make a Scottish Cup winning...

Thank you for the chance to support you Saints and for this amazing experience. It’s always good feeling beat "wee green team"

Zlamal was part of the Hearts team that lost the 2019 Scottish Cup final to Celtic but wasn't in the squad when the Jambos beat Hibs at the last four stage of last season’s competition.
