Bobby Zlamal in fresh swipe at Rangers as fuming former Hearts keeper launches into bizarre 'creating war' rant

Outspoken Bobby Zlamal has continued his row with Rangers insisting the club are "exaggerating" the abuse to which Glen Kamara has been subjected.

The goalkeeper who spent time on loan last term with St Mirren and St Johnstone from Hearts, was fined by Tynecastle chiefs for his defence of racist Ondrej Kudela.

The now retired shot-stopper has now sparked the row again with the club following the abuse Kamara received from Sparta Prague fans during the Europa League clash.

Appearing on iDnes' Football podcast, he unleashed a blistering defence of himself and the 10,000 kids in the crowd to back his former club.

Zlamal instead shifted the blamed away from the Czechs and onto Kamara for continuing the row.

In a bizarre take, the one-time Czech Republic cap said: "Nothing good will come of war. The Scots are just making war.

"I will quote Morgan Freeman, 'Racism will disappear when it is no longer talked about’.

"They do the exact opposite. They want to eradicate it, but they do it the wrong way."

On the Sparta fans abusing the Rangers midfielder, he continued: "I tried to take it with a grain of salt, but it's starting to bother me a lot.

"They were exaggerating then, but now they accused the children. I have a child and he doesn't know what it is.

"My view is that racism will disappear. The younger generation doesn't know about it at all.

"Nothing good will ever come from hatred. It bothers me that Scotland considers us racists."

He claimed he had been a target of rough treatment on the pitch when facing Rangers during his time at the Jambos, adding: "When we played against the Rangers, I caught the ball on the line and about two seconds later their player got there.

"I thought the team is weird. Something's wrong with then.

"When I saw the match, I again stand behind the fact that he did it intentionally. Overall, the way they behaved was not entirely correct."

When asked about the fine from Hearts, he doubled down on his comments on Kudela: "I did not apologise, I had nothing to do. I stand behind it.

"I didn't say anything wrong. If someone calls me a racist, it offends me. I don't even want to talk about it.

"Allegations against allegations. I said the presumption of innocence should be honoured.

"You can't convict someone without evidence, not in the western world."
