The children of slain Bobby Ryan are suing money-mad murderer Patrick Quirke.
Robert Ryan Junior and sister Michelle kick-started a court action against their dad’s killer at the High Court on Monday.
Quirke, 50, was caged for life in May for murdering the popular Tipperary DJ, 52, also known as Mr Moonlight.
A solicitor for the Ryan family has lodged paperwork initiating a personal injuries claim against the cash-crazed farmer.

But it may take months before the case comes before the courts.
Quirke, from Breanshamore, Co Tipperary, was found guilty after the high profile 15 week trial earlier this year.
Mr Ryan’s body was found in slurry tank in April 2013 after he went missing almost two years earlier.
