Bobby Davro 'kicked and battered' in car park brawl over ex-wife Trudi Jameson

Bobby Davro claims he was kicked in the stomach and beaten to the ground during a car park scuffle defending his ex-wife's honour.

The 60-year-old TV star and comedian was outside The Ivy Brasserie in Cobham, Surrey, on Monday night when ex Trudi Jameson came to pick him up.

But she and a local woman got into a verbal altercation with four-letter slurs flung about - and when Bobby attempted to calm things down, he says the other woman's male partner aggressively stepped in.

"The two women bumped into each other and were having words when this very aggressive character took things way too far and we ended up pushing and shoving," Bobby told the Sun .

"I tried to trip him up because I thought he was about to headbutt me but he managed to knock me down and kicked me in the stomach."

He went on: "I was winded. It was a dangerous, cowardly thing to do and my ex panicked and called the police - it was ridiculous.

"I have no idea why it all blew up."

Eyewitnesses claimed the two women "exchanged obscenities", with one calling the other a "f**king prostitute".

It's believed the two women are known to each other.

In a statement, Surrey Police said: "The suspect and victim accepted a community resolution outcome and the matter is closed."

Bobby and Trudi were married for 10 years, splitting in 2003 after her affair with a builder.

They have three grown up daughters together - Brittany, Tierney and Marnie - and have remained close for the sake of their daughters.

But Bobby added: "[I] still can't believe I got caught up in one her rows."

The former Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing On Ice star has had something of a colourful history with his ex.

Back in 2015, he returned to the family home with Trudi and his long-term girlfriend Vicky Wright.

He told the Sunday People: "I have myself, my ex, my partner and my three daughters but I care for them all deeply.

"I am happy but, yes, my personal situation can be tough at times."

He admitted: "Vicky does get annoyed about it. She can sometimes feel hurt, which breaks my heart, but I'm not stringing her on.

"Trudi and I are not getting back together, even though I hoped at one point we would.

"Vicky understands the situation. She has a choice - she doesn't have to be with me."

The following year, Bobby announced plans to knock down the £3.5million mansion and build two six- and four-bedroom homes in its place for him and his ex-wife.

But planning chiefs threw out his original proposals after complaints from his neighbours.

Bobby and Vicky split in late 2016 after nine years together.
