Bobby Brazier breaks silence on family rift with emotional tribute to dad Jeff

Bobby Brazier has broken his silence on recent speculation about a family fallout, sharing a heartfelt Father’s Day tribute that appears to put rumours of a rift with dad Jeff Brazier to rest.

The EastEnders actor, 22, posted a candid photo of himself, Jeff, and younger brother Freddy standing together on a beach, arms around each other, gazing into a vibrant sunset.

The Strictly Come Dancing finalist captioned the Instagram Story, “My dads a rock [sic],” and soundtracked it with Adele’s Hometown Glory - a subtle but powerful message of unity amid growing reports of strain in the Brazier household.

It comes just days after reports claimed Bobby had “turned his back” on his father, moving out of the family’s Essex home to live in central London and pursue a more spiritual life.

According to sources, he’s been regularly attending Hare Krishna sessions, seeking peace in the face of ongoing tensions, especially surrounding his younger brother.

An insider told Daily Mail: “Bobby’s always had a spiritual side, but this is intentional. It’s clear he’s trying to leave all the fighting and noise behind.

“Freddy’s rebellion is loud - drugs, public slanging matches, and legal battles about his nana - while Bobby’s is quiet. But actually it’s just as defiant. He’s turning his back on the life his Dad created for them in Essex and following his own path.”

Freddy Brazier recently went public with claims about Jeff, accusing him of being image-obsessed and absent when it came to their personal struggles.

The 20-year-old didn’t hold back when speaking to the Daily Mail, claiming that his relationship with older brother Bobby is also strained.

“I sent him a message to wish him a happy birthday, but that’s it,” he said. “I used to be the middleman between my dad and everyone. But now I can’t be bothered. I don’t care what happens.”

He described Bobby as the “fiery” sibling in their household, adding: “I’m chilled out - I zone out and walk away when we argue.”

Freddy, who lost his mother Jade Goody to cervical cancer in 2009 when he was just four years old, admitted he chose not to mark Father’s Day this year, saying: “That’s because I feel like I’m being hung out. I don’t really deserve it.”

Despite the emotional distance, Freddy said he hopes to rebuild relationships as he prepares to enter rehab. “I want to be clean so I can live happily and have healthy relationships with people and be there for all of my family,” he shared.

In a frank interview, Freddy admitted he didn’t plan to see his dad on Father’s Day and hadn’t posted any public tribute.

Jeff is reportedly “heartbroken” over growing tensions within his family, with sources saying the recent fallout, particularly Freddy’s remarks, has left him deeply hurt.
