Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier made a surprise admission ahead of the start of the live shows this weekend – he has never watched the show and doesn’t have a clue about any of the dances.
The EastEnders actor, 20, dropped the bombshell while appearing with professional dance partner Dianne Buswell on ITV’s This Morning on Thursday.
Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Demot O’Leary, he explained: “My first experience of Strictly is being on Strictly.”
Laughing, Buswell added: “Every time I tell him the dance he’s like ‘I’ve never heard of it.’ It is quite exciting because he is learning from scratch so has no bad habits”.
She also praised his “charisma”, adding: “He only knows one style at the moment. But I think that style is what he will be best at. Bobby has a natural groove to him and great charisma.”
Willoughby then joked she could see Brazier being drawn to Latin dancing.
O’Leary agreed, saying: “Yeah...the hips.”
Brazier laughed at this and exclaimed: “The thrusting!”
“You said that!” Willoughby replied, as she was left red-faced.
Joking that he got his “moves” from his TV presenter dad Jeff, 44, Brazier explained: “My dad is a good mover! Where do you think I got the caterpillar from.”
Brazier is the eldest of Jeff’s two sons from his relationship with late Big Brother star Jade Goody.
