Bob Vylan’s Glastonbury set ‘very much crossed a line’, say organisers

• Glastonbury organisers said the chants “very much crossed a line” and they are “urgently reminding” everyone involved in the production of the festival that there is no place for antisemitism or hate speech.
• The BBC has banned Bob Vylan's performance from iPlayer, and police are currently assessing the comments to determine if any offences were committed.
• Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has spoken to the BBC director general regarding Bob Vylan’s set.
• Rap trio Kneecap is also facing police investigation for a similarly politically charged set, including “free Palestine” chants and comments directed at Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, following a previous terror offence allegation.
