Bob Saget told John Stamos how to feel ‘connected’ with his son

Bob Saget’s words of wisdom helped make John Stamos’ life fuller.

Stamos shared some advice his late “Full House” co-star imparted on him when he was a new father.

“For the first few months I didn’t feel as connected with my son as I thought I would,” Stamos wrote Wednesday in an Instagram caption of a heartwarming video of his son, Billy, when the then-baby was laughing on his dad’s lap.

“Bob Saget said just wait until the first time he laughs at you,” continued Stamos.

The actor and wife Caitlin McHugh welcomed their now-4-year-old in April 2018.

Saget died in a hotel room in Orlando, Florida, in January as a result of head trauma, following a comedy show, at age 65.

The funnyman starred in “Full House” as well as its Netflix spinoff “Fuller House” as patriarch Danny Tanner. Stamos played his on-screen brother-in-law, Jesse Katsopolis.

Stamos — who stated last month he has no interest in another “Full House” reboot without Saget — shared in September the valuable “lesson” he’s learned since his friend’s sudden passing.

“He left nothing on the table,” Stamos told ABC Audio at the time. “You just go tell people ... when you get a chance, that you love them, that you care about them, that you’re proud of them ... because tomorrow’s never promised.”
