Bob Odenkirk rushed to hospital as his Better Call Saul co-stars send love

The actor had been filming on set when he collapsed

American actor Bob Odenkirk was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after collapsing on the set of his Breaking Bad spin-off - Better Call Saul.

The 58-year-old star had been filming on the New Mexico set when the incident happened on Tuesday, with crew members calling him an ambulance, according to reports.

Odenkirk was rushed to a hospital where he is understood to have stayed overnight, according to TMZ.

Since the news of his collapse broke dozens of Hollywood actors have sent “huge love” to the actor on social media.

Spinal Tap comic actor and Better Call Saul co-star Michael McKean posted: “Sending huge love to our Bob Odenkirk. You got this, brother.”

Comedian Tim Heidecker wrote: “Let’s all please keep our Godfather @mrbobodenkirk in our thoughts tonight as it appears he’s in the hospital! Love you bob!”

Sex And The City star Willie Garson added: “Thoughts of love to @mrbobodenkirk.”

Better Call Saul is currently shooting its sixth and final season which will be screened on the AMC cable network in 2022.

Odenkirk’s other film credits include supporting roles in Little Women, Nebraska and The Post.
