Boat set on fire in apparent outlaw bikie attack: police

A boat was set on fire in Higgins over the weekend in what police believe was a bikie-related incident.

ACT Policing said it's Taskforce, which focuses on outlaw motorcycle gangs, is investigating the attack, which happened Ashburner Street, Higgins about 10.15pm on Sunday.

"Police would like to speak to anyone who witnesses the incident or has CCTV or dash-cam footage from the vicinity between 10-11pm on Sunday," they said in a statement.

They asked anyone with information to call them on 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at Crime Stoppers ACT website and quote reference 6574221.
