Bo'ness woman has lucky escape after remote controlled plane crash lands in garden

A Bo'ness woman and her kids have had a lucky escape after a remote controlled plane crash landed in her garden.

The incident happened in the Liddle Driver area at around 2:30pm yesterday afternoon, Sunday March 6.

Kayleigh Ward says she's lucky nobody was injured after the Hobby Zone model plane crashed into her window and landed in the garden.

At first, Kayleigh thought it was a bird hitting the window, until she looked out and discovered the aircraft smashed up.

Taking to Facebook, she said: "So yesterday at about half 2 in the afternoon I got a surprise visit from a flying object.

"Straight into my house Liddle Drive/Pennilton Place. No damage was done and no-one was hurt luckily.

"Looked it up it was an expensive piece of equipment - so if anyone wants to claim it pm me for details of where to get it."
