BNK FearX reportedly pursuing Diable’s transfer to other LCK team after demotion

Diable is reportedly in line for a transfer after being demoted to BNK FearX’s second roster on April 28, with reports claiming an unnamed “mid-to-lower-tier LCK organization” is pursuing a trade that could be finalized before Round 2 begins on May 1, 2026.

The 18-year-old player was moved down to BNK FearX Youth following controversy surrounding his absence from a scheduled fan meeting. The team previously stated that the decision also stemmed from repeated internal issues and failures to adhere to team rules and basic responsibilities.

According to a report by Inven Global, negotiations between the organization and the player have not yielded a mutual resolution, prompting discussions about a possible exit. The interested mid-table LCK team is said to be exploring a swap deal involving a second-team player rather than a standard signing.

The situation is especially urgent because of LCK roster rules. If Diable joins a new team through a standard registration, he would reportedly have to wait until the third round to play since Round 2 rosters are already locked. A trade, however, could make him eligible right away.

Under LCK regulations, trades are not allowed once Round 2 begins until the Road to MSI ends, meaning any move must be completed and submitted before May 1, 2026. That leaves only a short window for all parties to reach a deal by tomorrow.

Diable has been one of the standout rookies this year, and if he decides to leave BNK FearX, it would be a major blow to the squad.

Meanwhile, Shadow Corporation, the player’s agency, said he recognizes his mistakes, is reflecting on the incident, and has apologized to fans. The agency added that it would focus on stronger education, management, and guidance to prevent similar issues in the future.
