BNK FearX has benched their star ADC Diable after the player missed a scheduled fan meeting and committed repeated internal rule violations, the LCK organization announced today in an official statement explaining why it decided to send him down from the main roster.
The team released a public statement on X, explaining that while competitive results remain important, the organization also places heavy value on professionalism, responsibility, attitude, and respect toward fans and teammates.

According to the LCK organization, a recent incident involving Diable failing to attend a scheduled fan meeting became a major factor in the decision. The organization stated that staff and coaches continued to encourage his participation until the very end, but he ultimately failed to fulfill the commitment.
FearX added that there were repeated instances of internal rules and basic responsibilities not being followed. As a result, the organization demoted the 18-year-old to BNK FearX Youth, while Kim “Slayer” Jin-young has been promoted to the main roster from the academy.
BNK FearX also explained its recent mid lane changes, saying repeated disagreements and differing perspectives during match preparation negatively affected the team atmosphere and practice process. The organization stressed the rotation was not caused by any single personal conflict, but by contrasting views on how the game should be played and approached in team operations.
The team added that Daystar earned the starting spot after showing strong synergy with Diable in practice, particularly in coordination and overall team play, though the team is now reassessing its future mid lane direction following Diable’s send-down.
The organization acknowledged that the move may be difficult for some fans to understand, especially since Diable is considered a symbolic player who developed through FearX’s youth system. However, the team said it believes organizations also have a responsibility to help players grow into better professionals, not just focus on short-term performance.
FearX also apologized directly to supporters who attended last week’s fan meeting and were left disappointed. The organization said it would take full responsibility for the situation and improve player education and internal management systems to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Diable has been one of the more recognizable names tied to the team’s development pipeline. The star ADC won the LCK Rookie of the Year. After a phenomenal showing at the LCK Cup, the team also qualified for First Stand 2026, where Diable had two pentakills to his name.
