BMW stolen by gun-wielding thugs in terrifying robbery

A man was threatened with a gun during a terrifying carjacking in Chorlton.

Police were called to the armed robbery on Lychgate Mews at around 8.20pm on Saturday night (March 13).

Two thugs used a car to block a man in on his driveway before approaching him.

One of them was believed to be carrying a gun, police said.

They demanded he hand over the keys to a grey BMW One series and fled the scene.

Armed officers were scrambled to the incident and the car was found near Edgbaston Drive in Old Trafford later that evening.

Police also found a black Kia Rio.

Forensic testing will now be done on both cars.
