BMW smashes into house after flattening lamp-post and wall

A car crash has caused major damage to two properties in Bootle this afternoon.

A black BMW destroyed a lamppost and garden wall of one property before eventually crashing into the porch of the house next door.

Extensive damage has been done as the car appears to have hit a lamppost and garden wall before smashing into the front porch of a neighbouring property and coming to a halt.
