A BMW driver fled the scene of a crash in Wythenshawe this morning.
Police were called to the crash on Altrincham Road in Baguley at around 6.50am today (Friday).
A white Suzuki and black BMW collided with each other, police said.
The BMW driver made off from the scene.
A man took himself to hospital with minor injuries.
A section of Altrincham Road was closed off after the crash this morning with traffic being diverted away from the area.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 6:50am on 7 May 2021, police were called to a report of a collision on Altrincham Road, Baguley
"Officers attended and enquiries established a white Suzuki and black BMW had collided.
"The driver of the BMW left the scene.
"A man sustained minor injuries and self-presented to a hospital.
