A dangerous driver was caught on a dashcam terrifyingly reversing back off a slip road near the M50 in West Dublin.
The appalling incident was caught on camera by another motorist who couldn't believe what he saw as the car reversed back to the fork that splits the M50 ramps.
The ditzy driver had boarded the ramp to get onto the N7 back towards the Red Cow Hotel while the left ramp was to get onto the M50 South.
It's not clear what the driver's intentions were as the gobsmacked motorist behind moved left onto the M50.
The footage was taken on Sunday evening when the roads were luckily a lot less busy.
Niall, whose dashcam caught the incident, told Dublin Live he "can't wait for fully autonomous driving" to arrive as "we're just not responsible enough to drive this things ourselves".
He said: "It’s hard to believe. I can’t wait for fully autonomous driving to come in. We’re just not responsible enough to drive these things ourselves. We make two many careless decisions and mistakes.
"I’ve installed a dash cam in the front and back of my car. I’ve seen some crazy (even crazier) things before."
