The shutdown comes amid an ongoing SEBI investigation into BluSmart founders Anmol Singh Jaggi and Puneet Jaggi who are accused of financial fraud.
Dharmendra Kumar, president of the Amazon India Workers Association, compared the situation to a sudden lockdown, criticising the company for giving no prior notice to the drivers.
