Blur drummer makes Oasis admission amid famous feud

Oasis Blur United States Dave Rowntree

Blur drummer Dave Rowntree has stated that he and the members of Oasis now "get on quite well," dismissing the notion of a long-standing rivalry.
Rowntree finds it amusing that journalists often ask about the Blur-Oasis feud, expecting him to still be angry about events from 30 years ago.
The infamous "Battle of Britpop" in 1995 saw Blur's single "Country House" outsell Oasis's "Roll With It" for the No 1 spot.
Blur's Damon Albarn recently conceded that Oasis "won the battle" between the bands, comparing Blur's two Wembley shows to Oasis's seven for their 2025 reunion tour.
Oasis is currently undertaking a large-scale 2025 reunion tour, with upcoming dates across the US, UK, Japan, Australia, and South America.
