A dad ordered an eight foot inflatable Santa for his family home only for it to turn out to be a 25ft festive whopper that towers over his house.
Matty James from Southport, Merseyside, bought the £100 blow-up decoration on eBay to brighten up the outside of his home during Christmas.
But the 32-year-old nightclub owner was left open-mouthed when Father Christmas was blown up and blossomed into a towering 25ft tall accessory that blocked his living room and bedroom windows.
Matty, said: “I ordered it a month ago but didn’t realise it would be massive or as high as my house.
“I thought it would be about 8ft tall but only realised it was much bigger than that when I laid it all out.

“I remember thinking it looked weird and then all of a sudden, once I started putting the air in it, it kept growing and growing.
“I did wonder if it was ever going to stop. The neighbours came out they were all laughing their heads off, everyone was in hysterics.”
Matty said he needed five neighbours to help him tether the huge Santa down with ropes as the wind started to pick up.
Matty said: “As it started getting bigger and bigger the wind started picking up so I was starting to get a bit scared.
“When I woke up in the morning I looked out and his head would eclipse the window.
“Downstairs in the front room, when you opened the curtains, there was a big Santa bum in your face.”
