Blues fans refused to allow tornado warnings to stop them from watching Game 6

The St. Louis Blues hosted the San Jose Sharks in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Tuesday night.

A win would put the franchise into the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 1970, which is a very long time ago.

So fans weren’t about to let anything get in their way of watching the huge game, not even strong tornado warnings and tornado sirens because that’s exactly what happened in the St. Louis area right before the first puck was dropped.

Fans handled the warnings like hockey players handle losing a tooth in a game – they shook them off and kept pushing forward.

And they were rewarded for their efforts and courage as the Blues beat the Sharks 4-1 to advance to the Stanley Cup Final.
