ST. LOUIS _ Jaden Schwartz scored twice, once in regulation, once in overtime as the Blues pulled out another come-from-behind win in their third straight overtime game, beating the Bruins, 2-1, on Wednesday at Scottrade Center.
Schwartz got the puck in the neutral zone, skated up the middle, slowed in the high slot and then beat Boston goalie Anton Khudobin to the short side.
The Blues have won three games in a row, with all the wins coming in overtime.
For the time being, the Blues are one point out of a playoff spot. Anaheim, the team in second in the wild-card race, is on the ice right now in Calgary.
The Blues sent the game to overtime on a goal by Schwartz with 10:24 to play in the third. It was an exhibition of passing, as all five Blues on the ice touched the puck as it went from Carl Gunnarsson to Alex Pietrangelo to Brayden Schenn to Alexander Steen, who left it for Schwartz to score from the top of the left circle.
