Blue Planet Aquarium is letting 'kids go for a quid' this May half term

Any parent knows how much the school holidays cost in childcare and days out.

That's why we're always on the lookout for offers and discounts to make it that little bit cheaper for families.

Chester's Blue Planet Aquarium is doing exactly that over May half term by letting children in for just £1.

The offer applies across the school holidays, from May 25 until June 2, but you must book in advance here between now and May 18.

All you have to do is turn up with a shark drawing from your little one and they can get in for a quid with each full paying adult ticket, £19.

Children from 90cm up to 12 years can benefit from the offer. Under 90cm go free of charge.

Blue Planet is home to more than 100 living displays, as well as one of Europe's largest collections of sharks.

Visitors can wander through the underwater shark tunnel and watch the fish swim overhead, explore the colourful Coral Cave, and see the exotic freshwater fish of South America in the Flooded Forest.
