Blue Line running with delays after medical emergency at Western Station

The partial suspension was announced about 3:25 p.m.

CTA Blue Line trains are running with major delays following a medical emergency on the tracks at Western, according to the transit agency.

Service was suspended for nearly 30 minutes between the UIC-Halsted and Pulaski stations, the CTA said. Normal service was resumed about 3:50 p.m.

The Chicago Fire Department said that no one was hit by a train, but did not provide further information about the medical emergency.
