Blue Lagoon serving up vegan sausage suppers

One of Glasgow's most legendary food joints is getting involved in Veganuary, with the announcement the Blue Lagoon is offering an alternative to their standard sausage suppers.

That's because the Argyle Street eatery revealed yesterday a brand new vegan sausage supper has made the menu.

Taking to Facebook, the team behind Blue Lagoon said: "Finally! The Blue Lagoon at 208 Argyle St, in Glasgow is now selling the Vegan sausage supper."

"Just to be clear the Vegan sausage supper is cooked in a separate fryer.

"The fryer contains vegetable oil and only vegan products are cooked in this fryer."

The news comes hot on the heels of Burger King bringing a new plant-based Whopper burger to their restaurants this week. However, as it is cooked on the same fryer as their meat products, the Whopper won't be vegan friendly.

What do we think of the new Blue Lagoon offering, Glasgow?
