Players posed for photos with well-wishers as they walked along the 800-meter route from the Yurakucho Denki Building to the Marunouchi Building along the Naka-dori street in Chiyoda Ward. In the first Rugby World Cup staged in Asia, Japan beat such Pool A favorites as Ireland and Scotland to advance to the next stage with a perfect 4-0 record.
