Bloody stabbing scenes as teen slashed by Dublin gang 'as young as 15' at school gates in gory attack

These are the shocking and gruesome scenes as two teenagers were stabbed by a gang near a set of school gates in south Dublin yesterday morning.

It is understood that the stabbing involved children as young as 15-years-old and took place just as school finished at around 3pm on Friday.

Gardai said that as many as three people were injured in the altercation involving a number of young people and have launched an investigation into the incident.

Images obtained by Dublin Live shows blood pumping from one teen's arm with his trouser ensanguined from the slashing.

The other picture, shared on Snapchat, shows a person bent over holding their chest with the caption "[name] just got stabbed".

A source told Dublin Live: "There was two teenage boys stabbed at the school gates in the area. 

"The kids involved are as young as 15 and 16-years-old. It happened at around 3pm just after school had finished.

"Images and videos have been flying around on social media since the gory incident and parents in the area have become extremely concerned for their children's safety.

A Garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are investigating a public order incident that occurred yesterday afternoon Friday 11th December at approximately 3pm.

"A group of youths were involved in an altercation in the area and three persons are alleged to have sustained non-serious injuries during the incident.

She added: "No further information is available and enquiries are ongoing."
