A man was reportedly chased before being stabbed multiple times in Walton last night.
At around 1.20am on Tuesday, July 27 , police found a man with stab wounds on Grey Road.
The victim was found in bleeding in the street next to an Audi A3 which had three men locked inside.

Police say the man claims to have been stabbed by a group of five men, who he did not know.
The ECHO went to the scene and saw blood splattered along Barton Road leading onto Grey Road.
The front right window of the white Audi A3 was also smashed and glass could be seen on the floor.
A local who lives nearby, who wished to remain anonymous, said the blood was ‘fresh’ and from the attack last night.
She said: “There’s loads of blood from where he was stabbed up to where he ran away.
“There’s loads of it, it’s all over there right along the road. The knife was found just over there too.”
Police have since confirmed that they found a knife and a sheath of a machete on Barton Road, which runs between Wellfield Road and Grey Road.
The woman claims to have seen the victim being chased before the stabbing, she said: “They came running, legging it around the road, chasing him. Then they stuck it in him.”
The gang of men then reportedly made off on bikes and one man was on foot when police arrived at the scene.
She said: “They were on the corner and they had bikes so they jumped on the bikes and p***** off. And one of them was walking so he just legged it.”
Another Walton resident said that there is always ‘trouble’ on the road but it’s usually at night when most people are asleep.
She said: “There’s always trouble here. Usually at night though then we just wake to police in the area.
“We never see anything because it’s quiet really. You just see the police after it’s happened. It’s usually just drunk people causing trouble.”
Another person in the area said: “It’s just another day on Grey Road, the notorious Grey Road. There are always police around here.”
Police say the victim was taken to hospital for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
They are now appealing for any information while officers remain in the area carrying out CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries.
Detective Inspector Paul Jones said: "We are in the very early stages of an investigation into an appalling attack this morning and we would appeal for anyone with any information to come forward.
"Whether you come forward directly or anonymously, your information could be vital to help bring those responsible to justice. If you saw anything or anyone suspicious in the Rice Lane area, or captured anything on mobile phone or dashcam them please let us know.
"Knife crime has no place whatsoever in our communities and we rely on members of the public coming forward with information about such incidents to keep our streets safer. Please tell us what you know and we will take action."
